Inspired by his mother’s experience with sensitive skin during cancer treatment, Michel partnered with an indigo dyer to explore the medicinal potential of plant-based dyes, eventually founding AIZOME.

The brand’s collections, which include bed linens and clothing, are crafted using organic cotton and natural indigo dyes. AIZOME’s innovative use of sonic waves in dyeing, known as a ‘sound bath’, ensures vibrant, colorfast, and durable products while addressing the environmental impact of traditional dyeing methods. Nutgall-dyed textiles offer antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and hypoallergenic properties, soothing properties for skin prone to dryness, irritation or sensitivities.
