Loftie was born from founder Matthew Hassett’s childhood love of bedtime stories, inspiring a mission to create products that promote rest and relaxation. As an Entrepreneur in Residence at IDEO in New York, Matthew recognized the need to innovate the nightstand staple – the alarm clock – to help people detach from their phones and reclaim better sleep.

In 2018, Loftie introduced the Loftie Clock, a minimalist device designed to support healthier habits. With features like white noise, guided relaxation, and a library of bedtime stories, the clock offers an alternative to screen time, encouraging disconnection and quality rest.
