The daughter of a nomadic herder, Tserendorj studied fashion engineering in Budapest but was deeply influenced by summers spent in the Mongolian pastures. OYUNA works directly with Mongolian nomads, ensuring cashmere is sourced responsibly to protect the fragile ecosystem and herding traditions. Recognizing the environmental challenges posed by overgrazing, the brand advocates for a return to traditional pasture rotation, which allows grasslands to recover and supports biodiversity.
